Dinner at Home

Over here at the Heinricy residence dinner has been a main event. Each dinner has been filled with oooooos and ahhhhhhs, clapping and cheering, lots of "atta girls", having nothing to do with the fantastic meals I prepare nightly! (fantastic...yeah right! oh yeah..and nightly? not a chance!) It has all to do with our little Ke Ke attempting to and with resistance, eating her baby food. She is trying to get the hang of it, but quite honestly, she does not like anything she has tried. It seems the process for her is this: as the food is on the spoon, she first, smells it and gets a disgusted look on her face, and second, tightens her lips together to make sure that none of that stinky stuff goes into her mouth. It makes her gag but it is really the cutest thing. Poor thing. That stuff is gross, but oh, to prepare fresh baby food...so much work!!!
